Fishing, a glimmer of winter
As a fishing guide, I am not a fan of the fishing part, I really prefer the catching. Recently I have been relying on a group of upriver summer steelhead to supplement the less than stellar coho returns and provide enough catching to keep the day feeling productive. As of yesterday a seal began relying on those summer fish also..so. BUT HO! A few winter steelhead showed up this week, thank goodness, we can catch those, so I have been splitting my days between coho and winter runs, and the coho, though sparse, are still large and chrome.
