Chrome Winter runs? Spring Salmon?

The season that wouldn’t die continues.  Larry came out the other day on some make up dates, day one he swung this chrome winter steelhead on his brandy new spey rod, then we went trout fishing in a down pour.  Day two we broke out the gear and knocked out this spring Chinook and realeased a smaller un-marked springer.
On the first of May everything will close down except the Sol Duc, the Hoh will re-open on the 15th and then the Callawa and Bogacheil open back up on June 1.  If you to springer fish now is the time to book.

This perfect winter steelhead creamed Larry’s egg sucking leach. Late run chromers eat swung flies

Busted out the gear rods to score some tasty spring chinook.  This last rain brought in a good bunch of springers
