Worst day of the year, (and a cancelation) and a fishing report

I fished with Mike, Jake, and Matt on Saturday,  It rained really hard, the wind blew really hard, the river came up and got dirty, it sleeted, it hailed…we did catch a fish, but it was the worst weather day I have had all season.  The guys were awesome, they fished hard, helped with the boat, told jokes about the weather and, all and all, made it a really fun day to be on the river.

Thanks guys.

Its not always like this, but sometimes it is.

Open day, Wednesday February 21

Wednesday has just opened up, the rivers should be well dropped and in excellent shape. If you would like to book it please email us.

Sometimes, first thing in the morning you make an exceptionally good cast, and really fish it well, but its so rainy and low light you end up with kind of a crappy photo.
That might make it better.

A fishing report, or perhaps more of a review.

The fishing has been consistently good.

Not the most fish, or the biggest fish, but so far there have been less people on the river, and the river has been in pretty good shape. During the early season the warm water temps made for the most consistent spey fishing I have seen in years.

Tony had a good week.

Im looking forward to getting to fish in some cold clear weather.  I see a beach fire in my future.
