Well, I finally managed a few good,…better than good, days of summer run steelhead fishing. And we are finding odd ball salmon of every stripe around. We should just have summer kings, Coho, and sockeye but but there are few pinks and even chum wandering around to boot. It almost rained today, which would be good news for mushroom season, maybe we will get some more later this afternoon.

The trout fishing has been good, and the rivers have been empty thanks to the pinks in the sound.

Summer is racing by, I have to get going tying some caddis, that time of year is right around the corner.
