Salmon season on the way

Posted on September 14, 2010 by Jim

Yep,
We are still finding a few brand new steelhead, and in places, lots of earlier summer fish.  The trout fishing has been great but most folks are now skulking around the lower river for the first of the fall Coho and Chinook salmon.

The other season that is now in full swing is the mushroom season and yes, Lauren and I are guiding that too.
September 25th we will be leading a small group of folks on a chanterelle mushroom picking trip.  Giving away great mushroom spots, helping to identify other common mushrooms and cooking awesome chanterelle recipes.
It will be an all day event with brunch and dinner, if you are interested give me a call or e-mail, we have 3 spots left.

Expect to find a few pounds of these beauties, and learn some cool spots near your home
