Merry Cristmas

Merry Christmas, and thanks so much for reading this blog.

Yesterday when Craig and I got to the river it was border line too high, rising fast and raining hard.  The wind was gusting into the mid 20’s and despite being almost 8 am it was more or less dark.  All things considered a great day on the river.
We caught a beautiful chrome native steelhead in the first hour, and lost one more just before the take out.  In the mean time we kept busy catching a few trout, whitefish and watching sticks logs and yard furniture drift by.
There are a lot of fish, and some damn nice ones.
Here are a few picks to hold you over.
