  • Springer fishing

Springer fishing is now, and soon maybe some very interesting steelhead fishing. Spring Chinook fishing here on the peninsula will peak between the second week of May and the first week of June.  By the third week of  May there … read more »

  • Spring Chinook are here

Here are some springers exactly like the ones we didn’t catch today. Had my fist day springer fishing today, and although we found some springers and got some bites, we failed conclusively to land any. We also found a few steelhead and did get one of those to the net. I will be steelhead fishing tomorrow and then back to the springers on sunday.

  • Spring Chinook

    Hey,

I want to go springer fishing right now! I have Thursday and Friday open, anyone
want to go gear fishing for springers?
Give me a call, I really want to go and if you let me fish a little I
would do it for SUPER cheap.

    Oh Yea,

low in the system, ganged up in huge schools in the lower rivers, and after a
couple of weeks decided the really didn’t want to bite a lot. This …

  • Not a photographer

    So…

I’ve been fishing every freakin’ day. The fly fishing has
definitely gotten tougher as the fish have started coming in closer to the
spawn. Still plenty of chromers, and big ones, just not  many fly biters…

  • Low water, big fish

Not a lot of tribal netting combined with very fishable conditions and great
weather have led to consistent if not red hot fishing for jumbo native silver
    and king salmon.

We are going to need another shot of rain to get back to load
the boat type fishing but in the mean time how can you complain about a silvers
like this and warm sunny days? All the rivers have decent numbers of quality
fish in just about every drift.
