Joe pretends to be cold while holding a hatchery steelhead
I took some time off for the Holiday but its back to the river tomorrow. We will see what the rain brought us. One way or another, winter steelhead season is here. Get out your warmest gear, spare thermos and extra large flask. Time to head for the hatchery runs, or sneak off for the secret early natives. There should be a few fish everywhere, and few fishermen in most places.
Told you there were mountains up there
Clear weather makes for good December fishing. Its always nice to get a chance to see the mountains.
