OOh Boy, she’s rainin now!

Weird day today, the guide may have made a less than 100% call on river choice and it ended up being pretty tough.  Things have been pretty good otherwise. A few days we had to work hard for them but that is steelheading.  Last weekend the rain did not beat us, and I think this weekend we will pull it off also.
Had a bunch of swung fish this week, medium high water this time of year makes for good steelhead on the spey rod
.

Tom with a dandy steelhead

Heavy sink tips 12 to 15 feet of T-14, and heavy flies are scratching out a couple of steelhead a day, a little nymphing in between makes for a few more.
