Hey, This fishing Guide is leaving

That’s right.
Lauren and I are headed for the bay islands of Honduras on the 8th, if you want February dates try to get in touch before we go, I will have little or no phone or e-mail contact for two weeks, and then a terrible back log when I return, so let me know soon if you are thinking about getting a day in.
Second, it was an awesome week to be a fishing guide in Forks.  The fishing was not easy, but it was great. We worked hard for three to 5 fish a day all week, here a a few highlights.

Some Fancy foot work kept us fishing the creeks during high water, Mark with a chrome native buck

Whoa, whats that picture of Neil creek doing here?

Heavy flows and bright fish made landing them tough, Gerald made his third one count.

Jim with a nice bright hatchery buck

Nope, not a boat in sight, all day

Turns out this is what Don looks like without a Cigar

A great mix of Native and hatchery steelhead this week, a few big ones, a lot of 9 and 10 pounders.  Look for more big fish to show up in the coming weeks.
All the rivers should be in more or less decent shape for a while with steelhead from the head waters down to the mouth, bring warm socks.
