And now we wait
Its trout season now, and summer steelhead season, and as soon as we get 2 inches of rain it will be fall salmon season, its my hope we see it before October 15.
In the mean time,
The put in, is as good a place as any to start catching them

I am looking forward to a couple more laid back weeks of summer fishing before the fall push begins. I am building the fly pile to fend of the fall silvers, and have invested heavily in some bad ass new lines.
Joe P. you will be getting a fly order soon, I dearly hope you have some time for me, I can plug you in for some salmon days with John if you want.

Jim, It looks like you might get that 2″ of rain this week, a bit earlier than expected. Here come the salmon!
