KIngs Winter steelhead, summer steelhead, sockeye, and trout, and I guess surf perch

Well, its one of those things.

Landed a few salmon, a few steelhead, a few trout and char.  Never seemed to be wide open but it was always interesting.  Its an awesome time of year to spey fish. It is a neat mixed bag deal with summer steelhead beginning to sneak into the forefront, sockeye filling in some of the slow spots and big spring and summer Chinook for the brass ring.

Chris pulls on a late winter run steelhead

I have Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday Monday Tuesday of next week open.  There are definitely enough sockeye around now to make a day of it and enough  summer steelhead to make another day.

Sockeye are small, but bite well and fight hard, great on a six weight spey
