Here is a left over picture of Jim Farr with a Bogachiel
hatchery steelhead, rivers have started to look good, weather is nice and I am
leaving for Baja today.  I heard a
pretty reliable rumor today that the Hoh tribe netted a 45-inch steelhead yesterday
and apparently sold it to a taxidermist from Port Angeles who was on hand with
$200.00 dollars.  The fish is said
to have weighed 31 pounds.  I hope it had a big brother who made it through.  If you are looking to get out fishing I have quite a few dates the first week of February and then three days at the end of march open as well as a few days here and there throughout.

I will try to get some reports and post them for you while I
am down south.

Jim

  • I'd like to change my contest entry to week 3 based on the fact that you are going to be all drunked up in Cabo and not thinking about blogs.

Let me know if you have any March/April weekends left when you return.
