Its trout season now, and summer steelhead season, and as soon as we get 2 inches of rain it will be fall salmon season, its my hope we see it before October 15.
In the mean time,
The put in, is as good a place as any to start catching them

I am looking forward to a couple more laid back weeks of summer fishing before the fall push begins. I am building the fly pile to fend of the fall silvers, and have invested heavily in some bad ass new lines.

Jim, It looks like you might get that 2" of rain this week, a bit earlier than expected. Here come the salmon!
Lots more salmon than I ever thought I would see in September.
