Merry christmas!!
Thank you everyone who has come and fished with us and made this another awesome year for our business.
Thanks to all the great friends who have come out and spent time with us on the water.
We really can’t tell you how much we appreciate you. Thank you and we really, sincerely hope you have a great holiday season.

Its solstice tonight, and a rather spectacular one, some where high above the clouds is a meteor shower and a full moon.
We have reached the heart of darkness. The longest night of the year. And now the earth is slowly tilting back the other direction, day by day, bit by bit, bringing us closer to springer season.

Still some nice hatchery steelhead to come, email about January dates

The power has been on and off, the internet and phones periodically down, for more than a week now.
Assuming that at some point it stops raining, the rivers will drop. And when they do, we will go fishing again.
When I haven’t been on the river for a couple of weeks its seems so exciting to go back. Whats going to be in there?
How has the river changed? It makes it more of an adventure than usual.
Perhaps a bit more of an adventure than many clients want. I am guessing when folks ask their guide about the expectations for the day, and I reply “I have no idea” its not entirely reassuring.
Sorry about that, but its just not an adventure if you know how its going to end.

Merry Christmas, happy Holidays
