Yes the water is crazy low, yes its stupidly hot out, yes
there are still plenty of chromers.

So wear shorts, go for a swim at lunch, and bring a one
hander.  I honestly don’t know how
much longer this can hold up, but the water is still cool enough to keep the
fish aggressive and hard fighting.

Straight up trout tactics are the name of the game, find a
fish and keep trying him, change flies as necessary and try some more.  2 out of three will bite if you are
patient.

The days of chrome are not yet over, but this has to be a sign of what’s to come
