Spring, almost free trip, open dates

So much going on this time of year.  Some real nice spring Chinook traveling behind the house, I should be making evening runs after them but I have been too lazy.  Managed to round up a few more summer steelhead this week, along with plenty of winters, fresh and not-so.

This is my favorite time of year to swing flies, and this week I intend to take a day just to tie some fresh swing bugs.  Maybe I should invest in a new spey rod…who knows.

“Free” Trip

I sent my drift boat back to Clacka Craft down in Clackamas OR for a tune up.  I am looking for some one who travels that way to haul it up to Forks or at least Port Townsend/Bainbridge.  I would be glad to trade a trip for it.

I have some open dates coming up that I would love to fill, May 22 through 26 are open, along with a few others.  Drop me a line if you want to do some fishing, there are some cool things a foot if you have the time….

    Jim,
I travel down there once or twice a month. Bought my boat from that store so I’m familiar. When will it be ready to come back up?

Hey Jim, I know that you like Echo spey rods, maybe you need a new summer rod like that Dec hogan-II 6.5 wt spey. What do you think? Or, do you have another one that you are interested in getting?

Yea, I don’t know. I have a couple of new echo 3 rods just going into their second season, so, I don’t even really know them yet. I am a bit short on “big” spey rods, I need to find something to fit that bill.

From cuties to flatbills. Raincoast has it all.

    Cute kid dude.
